The largest quilt guild on Florida’s Gulf Coast, The Venice Area Quilters Guild serves nearly 300 quilters in Sarasota, Charlotte and Manatee Counties. Quilters of all skill levels from beginner to professional, with interests as varied as our experiences are welcomed. Members strive to promote the love of quilting, encourage and preserve the art of quilting, and to share friendship and knowledge with others. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, September through April, at 6:30 PM at the Hotel Venezia, Doors open at 6 pm for sharing, signing up for classes and volunteer opportunities, access to our library and a free table, information on “Quilting By the Gulf XXI” , February 28 and March 1, 2026.
