Quilters Resources uses an external company for maintaining the technical operation of the Website. This company is the data processor with regards to the personal data for which Quilters Resources is the data controller. Quilters Resources does not have access to your password and login information. Furthermore, Quilters Resources uses third-party vendors, such as Stripe and Paypal, to process payments. Therefore, we do not have access to your payment information.

1.2  Reviews and Questions & Answers

When you make a review of a company, we collect the information you state in the review, including which company you review, which purchase(s) the review concerns, and how you evaluate the company. When you make a post on the Questions & Answers section, we collect the information you state in your post.

A main purpose of Quilters Resources is to promote quilting, sewing and knitting businesses through a directory of those professionals. Hence, we permit other services to show the listings created on the Website thus increasing other consumers' knowledge of those businesses, including Search engines, including e.g. Google and Bing.

Quilters Resources may be required to disclose information by a court order from a competent court of law or public authority in accordance with the existing legislation.

3  Data Controller

3.1  The information for which Quilters Resources is the data controller

Quilters Resources shall be data controller of the master data you enter in connection with your creation of a profile or registration for newsletters, i.e. your name, your password and your email address, as well as registration of your IP address. Furthermore, Quilters Resources shall be the data controller of the information which is disclosed to other services, cf. section 2.3.

3.2  The information for which you are the data controller

You shall be data controller of the content you choose to disclose on the Website and for the data disclosed on your profile on Social Networks, which is the consequence of the connection of your profile on the Website with your profile on the Social Network.

4.1  Quilters Resources offers free and purchased listings (i.e., business listings, guild listings, articles, classified ads, and banner ads). Quilters Resources reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Service Agreement at any time and may add to, change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. In the event of any material change, Quilters Resources will notify you via email, newsletter or the Web site at least 7 days prior to any such changes taking effect, at which time you may either agree to such changes or withdraw from the Service.
